Migrating birds bridges continents, and in order to conserve healthy populations, stop-over sites and migration routes it is imperative to work with international partners!

On these pages you will find a short presentation of some of our international cooperators. Several of these fantastic places are, just like Ottenby, depending on contributions from volunteers. Working at Ottenby is a good way to start your journey; after receiving proper training and experience here on Öland, many of our ringers and assistants continue to different foreign bird observatories.
